This week Twitter has a problem – it’s struggling to grow the numbers of new users joining and the number of existing users using the network leading to a drop in it’s share value.

To counter that, Twitter this week has announced that the links you include in your post will no longer count in the total number of characters in your post – normally limited to 140 characters.

The video below demonstrates how this works in practice. More changes are promised and desperately needed to stop the Twitter rot.
